After the overwhelming success of their debut album Yeh Hai Prem, Rajshri Music will release their sophomore pop-set College Ke Din on June 21. Yeh Hai Prem sold over six lakh units.College Ke Din contains eight songs which relive the journey through one's college life. The album, says Rajat Barjatya, chief of Rajshri Music, is a ``positive, vibrant and respectful attempt at portraying the fun, romance, aspirations, anxiety and success which make college life so special.''
In keeping with the Rajshri philosophy of introducing new artists and technicians, College Ke Din sees the launch of singer Manohar Shetty, who has sung all eight songs in the album.
Music for the album has been composed by relative newcomer Mithilesh V. Patankar and its lyrics have been written by Dr Pramod Bejkar.
Director Ravi Udyawar has picturised the first song from College Ke Din, Pehla din hai college ka. Teen heartthrobs Sameer and Raima, who featured in Rajshri's Valentine Day music-video, also star in this video. Shot in cimemascope, the video will be aired from June 17.
College Ke Din will be manufactured and distributed worldwide by Sony Music under the Rajshri Music label.
