Jelena Dokic, the teenage sensation and quarter-finalist, was asked whether she would contemplate using muscle-building drugs like Creatine, the one used by her fourth-round opponent Mary Pierce. ``It's a definite no for me,'' she said. She says she tries not to look at how big the opponent is at the other end, and tries to outsmart or out-think them. Dokic, who can always do with some muscle-building exercises to begin with, takes a cue from Martina Hingis -- her first round victim. Brain over brawn seems to Dokic's motto.

Man United agonise fans

The whole of England, it seems, is in collective agony.

The reason: Manchester United has decided to skip the next season's FA Cup and instead play the World Club Championships in Brazil in January. The loyal English fan feels that he has been forced to miss out on the action of the country' best club. The reason for the pull out is that Man United's participation would strengthen England's chance to host the 2006World Cup, God knows how. But the FA Cup organisers are in a spot after the tournament sponsors, insurance company Axa, has asked for explanation about the prestigious club's withdrawal. Axa's sponsorship is worth about 25 million pounds over four years.

Close shave for Guga's coach

Beady-eyed fans would have noticed Brazilian Gustavo Kuerten appearing to run an imaginary comb through his hair after his last 16 win over Swiss qualifier Lorenzo Manta.

`Guga' in fact was pretending to shave his head -- something his coach Larri Passos had promised to do if he reached the quarter-finals.

Sure enough, Larri paid a visit to the barbers and was set to emerge with his new look for Kuerten's last eight clash with fellow suede-head Andre Agassi today.

Anna, Agassi voted sexiest

It hardly comes as a surprise, but Russian Anna Kournikova has secured one title at this year's Wimbledon. The 18-year-old, who was eliminated from the women's singles by Venus Williams yesterday, has been votedsexiest player by readers of The Sun.

Kournikova won 1,754 votes with Frenchwoman Mary Pierce a poor second with 314. American Andre Agassi won the men's vote with 214, followed by Australian Mark Philippoussis on 131.
