CHANDIGARH, July 2: On joining the Chandigarh Administration on deputation for a period of two years, S.P. Arora, an HCS officer from Haryana, has been appointed as administrative officer, Government Medical College, Sector 32, here today. He relieved Prithi Chand of the additional charge.Arora, who joined the Administration last evening, would also work as Officer on Special Duty to the Adviser to UT Administrator, in addition to his duties in the GMC.
Meanwhile, another HCS officer from Haryana, Ashok Sangwan, is likely to join the Chandigarh Administration early next week. He is yet to relinquish his charge as managing director of the Panipat Sugar Mill.
An administrative reshuffle of middle-rung officers in the UT is in the offing as two Punjab PCS officers D.S. Saroya and T.S. Dhaliwal are also likely to join UT next week.
