Chiplonkar award is given every year to individuals engaged in popularisation of science in Marathi medium. B S Raye award is given every year to a physics teacher from senior college affiliated to University of Pune for his or her outstanding contribution to teaching, students welfare, college administration, extra-curricular activities and sports.
