NEW DELHI, July 4: The Northern India Ranking table tennis championship will be conducted at Delhi after a lapse of five years when the event is held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium here from November 13 to 18. The championship was last held in the Capital in 1994.The Delhi State Championships, conducted by the Delhi Table Tennis Association (DTTA), will be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium from October 11 to 14.
The new season's table tennis programme, after the summer vacations, begin with the Gymco Open from July 17 to 20. It will be followed by the inter-club league at Reserve Bank of India premises from July 26 to August 3 and Mother's International tournament at the school premises from August 6 to 10.
The month of September will see two more local tournaments (Bal Bharati and Jaspal Kaur) while the Arrowhead and Surjit Kaur memorial will be conducted in the third week of October to November 1.
