Scuffle holds up traffic on India, Bangla border

PETRAPOL (WEST BENGAL), JULY 5: The international check post on the India-Bangladesh border here was virtually closed for an hour around noon today following a scuffle between a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan and a few drivers of Bangladeshi trucks.Truck drivers lined up on the narrow `no man's land' and blocked the route, alleging that three of them were beaten up by the BSF jawan on duty. The BSF jawan also sustained injuries in the scuffle. However, the dispute was settled when a Bangladesh Rifles officer took up the matter with his BSF counterpart.
