Sunny to receive Maharashtra Bhushan Award

NAGPUR, JULY 5: Former Test skipper Sunil Gavaskar would receive the prestigious Maharashtra Bhushan award of Maharashtra government on July 12 here, official sources said.Gavaskar had earlier expressed his inability to come to Nagpur and urged the Minister of State for Cultural Affairs Anil Deshmukh, to hold the function at Mumbai. However, Deshmukh informed him that it was a cabinet decision to hold the function at Nagpur.
