Bootlegger caught
The Athwalines police have registered a case against one Dharmesh Jairam who was nabbed by the PCB with 12 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor on Tuesday. PCB police raided his house at Manji Street, Timaliawad, and seized the whisky bottles.

Body recovered
The Katargam police recovered the dead body of a 15-year-old boy from near Singanpore village on Tuesday morning. The boy could have died of drowning, the police said, and directed his parents to claim the body which is at the New Civil Hospital.

Motorcycle theft
A Hero Honda motorcycle (GJ 5 DD 2597) has been reported stolen from the Varachha area of the city. Owner Arvind Waghasia told the police that he had parked the vehicle opposite Sahayog Chambers at Sardar Chowk in Varachha. The police have registered a case under IPC 379 and are investigating.

Car radio stolen
Electronic assesories fitted in an ambulance of the city-based Ayurvedic Hospital has been stolen, a case registered in the Mahidharpura police station said. Dr Dahyalal Bhatt of the hospital, while lodging a complaint in the police station, said that the car tape and other assessories fitted in the vehicle (GJ 5 107) were stolen while it was parked opposite the hospital during the night hours.
