NEW DELHI, JULY 8: Describing Pakistan as ``an incredible state'' -- one that cannot be trusted by the international community, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today criticised it for reneging on its commitments. The party, in the same breath, also criticised the Congress for continuing to harp on its demand for a Rajya Sabha session on the Kargil conflict. ``With the majority of chief ministers, the true representatives of the people, not favouring a session of the Council of States, the Congress stands further isolated and totally distanced from national opinion,'' BJP general secretary Narendra Modi observed here today.
``By failing to honour its commitment to restore the sanctity of the Line of Control by withdrawing its forces, as entailed by the Clinton-Sharif joint statement, Pakistan stands exposed before the world as an incredible state,'' he said.
Starting from 1947, he pointed out, Pakistan had reneged on each and every commitment it had made on bilateral agreements with India. ``It has nowshown scant regard for a commitment made to the US and the UK,'' Modi asserted.
