BUTA urges MSU

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
VADODARA, July 8: The executive committee of the Baroda University Teachers Association (BUTA) at its meeting held recently has urged the M S University to take the government resolution passed on June 17 in the right spirit.

BUTA General Secretary Janak Shah said that for career advancement the university should consider even the duration of temporary lectureship of those teachers who are now permanent.

Shah added that the resolution has other terms and conditions also, but the BUTA representatives have only urged that this resolution be implemented at the earliest.

Shah added that the resolution was applicable to all those who have served as temporary lecturers, teaching assistants, research officers or research assistants. This decision was taken unanimously by BUTA, said Shah.
