Super Div from today

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, JULY 8: Mahindras will take on Maharashtra State Police (MSP) tomorrow in the inaugural Gulf Oil Super Division match at the Cooperage.

Although, this season the league is starting late but the teams are raring to go and perform.

Mahindras will, surely, enjoy an upper hand against Policemen who have won a promotion from Senior Division. Last season, Mahindras finished runners-up to Bengal Mumbai Football Club (BMFC) despite a bad start.

Mahindras team management are yet to receive the inter-state clearances of Chrsitopher and Surmani Singh.

Manjit Singh -- highest goal scorer last year -- was nursing a thigh injury, will be ably supported by Nitin Pradhan and Abbas Ali Rizvi. A strong mid-field -- Shamshi Raza, Satish Minz, Andrew Luois and Aqueel Ansari are fit and skillful enough of controlling the game.

While MSP is a team which is always unpredictable and capable of making surprises. Coach Francis Fernandes is confident of a good show by his team. ``We will play positive and attackingfootball. We have couple of injuries but that will not change my plans.''
