Bodies of evidence -- Pak wants to `verify'; Delhi wants it to stake claim
After Kargil, in which over a thousand people have died, India and Pakistan are now warring over the fate of the bodies of two Pakistani soldiers.

One day before New Delhi's deadline for withdrawal--which it said can be extended by "a day or so''-- Pak intruders in Drass and Mushkoh Valley retreated waving white flags, a gesture to the Indian Army not to fire.

Drass, Kargil find place in Army's winter plans now
Embarrased over the Kargil fiasco, the Indian Army is busy giving finishing touches to its winter strategy. At present, the Army maintains a winter post only in the Siachen, the world's highest battle field.
