Pune college teachers to join stir

PUNE, JULY 17: About 40,000 degree college teachers of Maharashtra will go on an indefinite strike from July 21, in response to the call of the Maharashtra Federation of University College Teachers' Organisation. At a meeting on Wednesday, the Pune University Teachers' Association (PUTA) decided to support the strike one hundred per cent. Harish Desai, chairman of PUTA says that the PUTA will canvass for support among all the city's college teachers through meetings.
