111 more rounded up in anti-crime drive

Chandigarh, July 18: Continuing their drive to prevent crime, the police rounded up 111 more persons from various parts of the city last night. With this, nearly 350 persons have been rounded up in the ongoing drive.

On Thursday night too, 222 persons were rounded up by the police. Of the 111 persons, 100 were held for allegedly roaming under suspicious circumstances, six for causing threat to peace and five for creating nuisance under the influence of liquor.

The police intend to continue the anti- crime drive.
