New Delhi, July 18: The Equestrain Federation of India will send three riders to Germany to rub shoulders with particpants from more than 15 top countries of the world in the category of show-jumping international championship.The competition will be held at Herford near Hannover in Germany, defence sources here sai today.
The Indian team includes Major NS Rajpurohit who has won laurels for the country at World Equestrian Games, Stockholm and thrice in USA. Maj Rajpurohit, who will be the coach-cum-manager for the championship, is currently joint secretary of the Equestrial Federation of India.
The second member of the team is Vishal Bishnoi (rider), who has the distinction of being first and fourth in show-jumping (normal) junior National Equestrian Championship, Pune in December 1998. He was second in international show-jumping competition for young rider and fourth in show-jumping Junior National Eqestrial Championship at the same venue that year.
The third member is Aditya Ahuja -- a morning rider who stood first in show-jumping (normal) at the sub-junior National Equestrian Championship, Pune in December 1998. He finished third in show-jumping (normal) at the sub-junior National Equestrian Championship, 1997, and was fourth in Hong Kong Easter, the sources added.
