More admission schedules revised

Chandigarh, July 20: With many dates for admissions already revised by Punjab University, some more university departments announced revised schedules for tests and interviews today.

A press release issued by Urdu Department chairman Dr Madhukar Arya, stated that the aptitude test for admission to MA Part I Urdu will be held on August 2.

Another release from Hindi Department chairperson Neerja Sood, stated that the interviews for MA I would be held on August 2. The written test and interview for the diploma course in translation would be held on July 30. Candidates are required to carry their original certificates, the release stated.

A third release from D.K. Vohra, Chairman admissions, Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, stated that joint admissions to the first year BE and B Arch courses were held today under the categories of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. All the seats available were filled, it was added.

The revision of schedules follows PU's decision to further the last date for submission of forms.
