Two boys reported missing

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
SURAT, July 21: Two 17-year-old boys residing at Varachha and Olpad are reported missing in separate cases registered on Wednesday. The police have registered non-cognisable cases and are investigating further, although the two were untraced until evening.

Brijesh Hasmukh Patel (17), a class XI student of Divya Nayan School located at Palanpur Patia area of the city, is missing since Tuesday afternoon, the police were informed. A resident of Pinjrat village on the outskirts of the city, Brijesh left his home at around 8 am for school and did not return since.

Providing details to the police, relatives stated that he was wearing coffee-coloured trousers and a cream-coloured shirt -- the school uniform -- when last seen. He has a birth mark on the right side of his face, the relatives said.

In another case registered at the Varachha police station, 17-year-old Ketan Patel is missing since Tuesday morning. The boy informed family members that he went to a diamond workshop, where he worked as a polisher, but did not return. Last seen, he was wearing a coffee-coloured shirt and black trousers. He has an `Om' tattooed on his right palm. Head constable Sumansinh Natwarsinh is investigating.
