DMK front to finalise seats within two days

Chennai, July 24: The DMK and BJP will finalise their seat-sharing arrangement within a couple of days, Union Power Minister Rangarajan Kumaramangalam said after their first round of negotiations on Friday.The BJP state election panel comprising Kumaramangalam, K N Lakshmanan and L Ganesan met the DMK election committee comprising Ministers Arcot Veerasamy, K Ponmudi and Durai Murugan at the DMK headquarters.During the 90-minute meeting, the BJP is said to have given a list of constituencies it wished to contest and also ``expressed interest'' in contesting the Tiruvattar Assembly by-election.
