Status on Azhar's fitness in ten days -- Dungarpur

MUMBAI, July 24: Mohammed Azharuddin would be able to tell the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) within the next ten days whether he would be fit to play in the August 22-31 tri-series in Sri Lanka after undergoing shoulder surgery last month in London, according to Board president Raj Singh Dungarpur.Azharuddin, who stayed back in London after the World Cup to undergo a shoulder operation on June 19, met the board chief here this evening after returning home last night. ``Azhar said he had reasonable movement on the operated shoulder. ``He will tell us whether he will be able to play in the next ten days,'' Dungarpur said.
