Queen Mother may meet Camilla

LONDON, AUG 1: The Queen Mother is preparing to meet the long-term mistress of Britain's Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, in a move to bring her acceptance by the royal family, a British tabloid reported on Sunday.Relations between Queen Elizabeth and Parker Bowles are famously icy, with the Prince's companion barred from public occasions. But the Queen Mother may be hoping to thaw things a little by inviting Parker Bowles to join Prince Charles at her home on the royals' Balmoral Estate in Scotland, reported the Sunday Mirror newspaper.``If the Queen Mother meets her, it might help the Queen's difficulty over Camilla and encourage the Queen to deal with the problem, too,'' a royal aide told the paper.
