In addition, candidates will have to produce such handbills in the office of the district magistrate before circulating them, she said, quoting directives of the Election Commission of India. Any handbill other than in one's handwriting will be considered as pamphlets and due action will be taken, the election officer warned.

The Life Insurance Corporation of India has contributed Rs 7.22 crore towards the National Defence Fund.
