Calcutta, Aug 1: International Cricket Council (ICC) President Jagmohan Dalmiya today accused Sahara India of adopting `double standards' with regard to the holding of the Indo-Pak Sahara Cup cricket series at Toronto.Reacting to Sahara India managing director Subroto Roy's statement yesterday criticising him for supporting revival of the series, the ICC president said, ``it was only last Thursday that the marketing agents of Sahara India wrote to International Management Group (IMG) about the company's support for the Cup.''Dalmiya's office here released a copy of the letter which said, ``subject to the government's approval to allow India to participate, Sahara India Parivar shall continue to honour their commitment towards Sahara Cup. On a positive note, looking forward to Sahara Cup this year.''
Coming down heavily on Roy, Dalmiya said in a statement, ``Roy is posing to be a patriot and treating others as traitors, which is certainly not acceptable. Rather, it seems that he believes in doublestandards.''
