ONGC hold Hinduja

ONGC held PD Hinduja to a 1-1 draw in the Mumbai District Football Associaton's Harwood League Section A match at St Xavier's ground, Parel on Sunday.

After a barren first session, Hinduja surged ahead, two minutes after resumption. Striker Santosh Kokate scored after Rajesh Rane had the former ahead with a defence splitting pass. Stung by the reverse, ONGC came back strongly and found the equaliser in the 56th minute through Brian D'Mello, whose powerful shot during a goalmouth melee found the target.
