The laboratory is equipped with equipment and consumables as per the syllabi of classes five, six and seven, and will be available to primary schools located in the rural areas of Ankleshwar taluka. The facility will be available to each school for a week, before moving on to the next.

Dhansukh Patel, Taluka Development Officer, presided over the inaugural function. V K Raval, Director - Operations, GIL, was the Chief Guest. In their speeches, the dignitaries stressed upon the importance of Science subjects and experimentation, according to the press note.
