Ultras attack Army post, 5 officers killed
In a frontal attack on the security forces, heavily-armed foreign militants attacked a company post of the 4 Rashtirya Rifles in North Kashmir with rocket launchers and UMGs.
BJP and allies to get majority, says opinion poll
The BJP and its allies are heading for a majority while the Congress will finish a poor second in the Lok Sabha elections, an opinion poll conducted by the Centre for Media Studies (CMS) and Outlook magazine has indicated.
Kalpnath Rai passes away
Former union minister Kalpnath Rai died yesterday after suffering a heart attack. He was 58. He is survived by his widow, a son and four daughters.
