World Peace Day celebrated
World Peace Day was celebrated by the Punjab University UNESCO Centre -- to mark the dropping of the first Atomic bomb on the city of Hiroashima in Japan -- in the Department of Psychology here today. The honorary director of the UNESCO centre, Dr Jitendra Mohan, stated that the future of mankind lies in the hands of young people, who should be committed to creation of peace.Amarinder is kendra head
Amarinder Singh, member, SGPC has been appointed incharge of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kendra, Chandigarh, while Davinder Singh, senior All India Youth Akali Dal leader has been appointed manager of the Kendra. The appointments have been made by Gurcharan Singh Tohra, president, Kendriya Sri Guru Singh Sabha, as per a release. World Wide Web institute opens
