The loans would be given to matriculates, graduates and those who have joined training course for the amount of Rs 800, Rs 1,500 and 2,000 respectively.

The last date to submit applications for the same is September 30. The forms are available free of cost at the District Welfare Department office on all the working days.

Minor surrenders in rape case
Another accused in the Pinjore rape case - Amit, who is a resident of Panchkula - surrendered in the court here today. His anticipatory bail was dismissed by the Ambala Sessions Court yesterday and he was directed to seek bail in the Juvenile Court as he was less than 16 years of age. He has been sent to a juvenile home in Sonepat.
