NEW DELHI: two central Delhi businessmen allegedly subjected three of their employees to third degree torture and set ablaze one of them suspecting them of theft on Saturday. The worker was set ablaze allegedly by Sanjay and Pankaj Verma who were infuriated when two of the workers fled during the `interrogation'.

School stabbing

NAGPUR: A 15-year-old schoolboy allegedly stabbed his classmate to death following a petty quarrel at Katol town. Police on Friday arrested the boy, who stabbed to death Zhakir Ali, 15.

New submarines

LONDON: India plans to go on a defence shopping spree, acquiring six aircraft and three frigates worth 1.2 billion dollars, and build modern submarines to strengthen the country's Navy, the Defence News weekly said. It quoted Naval chief Admiral Sushil Kumar as saying that two submarines will be built at the Mazgaon docks in Mumbai.
