No reinstatement for six yearsSix years ago the Labour Court had ordered the reinstatement of two employees who had been sacked without notice from the Kendriya Bhandar at Antop Hill. Today, they are both still unemployed.
Sunil Ghagre and Raju Bhogle were asked to leave the Kendriya Bhandar after they complained about mismanagement.
The two took their complaint to the Labour Court which directed the management to take them back and compensate them within a period of 15 days. However, the management refused on the grounds that they had already employed two other people in their places, they allege.
Both Bhogle and Ghagre have decided to take their case to the Prime Minister since mediation by corporators and the Union Minister Suresh Prabhu have not provided the solution.
