AGARTALA: Insurgents of the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) gunned down six persons last night in Tripura. Five persons were killed on the spot while another died in hospital.

Parel bomb scare

MUMBAI: A bomb scare occurred at Parel bridge late on Thursday night following reports that two bags had been noticed lying near a parked scooter. On reaching the spot with sniffer dogs, police found that the bags contained some old clothes and no explosives.
