Hurry up with rakhi mail, people told

AHMEDABAD, Aug 12: In view of the forthcoming festival of Raksha Bandhan, the Chief Post Master General, Gujarat Circle, in a release on Thursday urged members of the public to post their rakhis at least eight days in advance to avoid clogging. The department has also urged the people to write the full address with pin code on the envelope containing rakhis.Also, the rakhi envelopes have to bear a minimum Rs 3 stamp. Special arragements have been made for receipt of Rakhi mails at Ahmedabad General Post Office, Railwaypura PO, Navrangpura Head Post Office, Ambawadi Vistar PO, Maninagar PO, Ellisbridge PO, Naranpura Vistar PO and Shahibaug PO.
