EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
PUNE, Aug 12: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare today indicated that he would prolong his eleven-day fast for an indefinite period. He said he was still undecided about it even as people and other activists were requesting him not to extend his fast.

Hazare's condition on the fourth day of his fast was stable. His blood pressure was normal but he had lost weight of one kilogram. He has been asked by the doctors to take water to avoid dehydration.

People have been coming in large numbers to meet Hazare at the temple town of Alandi. There has however been no communication from the state government.Meanwhile, sarpanch of Ralegansiddhi Ganpatrao Avati, today announced that a solidarity rally will be taken out on August 15 from the Yerawada Central Prison to Alandi. Over 1,000 activists of the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Janandolan are expected to participate in the rally. Activists from all over the state have also planned to undertake a one-day fast on August 15. Hazare said he had asked the activists that all the actions to support him should be in a peaceful manner and should not be a nuisance to common people.

Meanwhile noted actor and social activist Dr Shreeram Lagoo will join Hazare tomorrow at Alandi and go on a three-day fast. Socialist leader G P Pradhan has also announced his plans to undertake a one-day fast on August 15.
