The Bangalore Summer Races, despite surfeit of terms races, was a disaster for the race-goers. With Mysore races catering to older age group horses and the fact that there are a number of outstation horses whose potential it is difficult to assess, things are bound to become more difficult for the punters. The first day's races is a sure enough pointer to the shape of things to come.
