United Western Bank employees to strike

PUNE, Aug 16: The employees of the United Western Bank Ltd affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has declared a flash strike on August 18 to protest against the bank management's decisions to transfer some employees in an arbitrary manner.In a statement issued in Pune, association vice president Arvind Doiphode protested against the decision taken by the bank citing administrative reasons and termed this as violation of agreement with the association.
