200 participate in session on career opportunities

CHANDIGARH, Aug 16: Oracle Software India Ltd Education Director S.V. Krishna addressed some 200 young people on career opportunities in software development and internet at a special session conducted at the CII Convention Centre here today.

He announced that Oracle, an international software company, has authorised Chandigarh Infotech Centre as its sole training centre in the city. Chandigarh Infotech Centre Director Krishan Goyal said the city has the infrastructure to become a major software-producing hub and could be "North India's answer to Bangalore and Hyderabad".
