Among those candidates who filed their papers today included Rajinder Srivastva (Independent), Ravi Parkash (Lok Shakti), Bimla Sapan (BSP-A), Rampal Hans (of New Congress party as Independent candidate), Gurnam Singh, Ved Parkash Aggarwal and Kartar Singh.

Earlier, three candidates had filed their nomination papers till yesterday.Meanwhile, there is a likely rush tomorrow for filing of nominations, it being the last date. The main contestants, Krishan Lal Sharma of BJP and Pawan Kumar Bansal of Congress will also file their nominations tomorrow.
