BJP candidates for Goa LS elections announced

PANAJI, AUG 17: Even as the BJP kicked off its election campaign on Monday with Home Minister L K Advani canvassing for Shripad Naik and Ramakant Angle, its candidates for North and South Goa, the other parties began catching up today.Former MLA Joaquim Alemao will be the Congress candidate for the South Goa seat while former union law minister Ramakant Khalap will be its man for the North Goa seat.
