IA slashes fares by 25 per cent

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
Indian Airlines has introduced a 25 per cent discount on fares between Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mumbai-Calicut, Mumbai-Mangalore, Mumbai-Cochin and Mumbai-Vadodara sectors from August 18 to September 18.

An IA release said the one way special fare for travel in the economy class will be Rs 1,905 (regular fare Rs 2,535), between Mumbai and Mangalore will be Rs 2,700 (regular fare Rs 3,610), between Mumbai and Cochin will be Rs 3,750 (regular fare Rs 5,025) between Mumbai and Vadodara will be Rs 1,720 (regular fare Rs 2,280) and between Mumbai and Calicut Rs 3,500 (regular fare Rs 4,580).
