Actor, director, script writer and story writer of Malayalam Cinema, Srinivasan, is to be felicitated at the Fine Arts Society's Shiva Swami Auditorium at Chembur on August 29, at 7 pm. The Brihanumbai municipal commissioner, K Nalinakshan, will be chief guest.

Srinivasan's recent film Chintavishta Aaya Shyamala won awards from Filmfare and Cinema Express. The film will be screened before the felicitation.

IIT offers new courses

The Office of Continuing Education Programme (CEP), IIT Bombay, will be conducting regular short and long term courses in interdisciplinary areas for working professionals in Energy Conservation and Management by Professor A Ganesh on August 21, and Surface Treatment for Ceramicware by V Jain, Industrial Design Centre on August 20.
