Sonia stalls pact with Laloo
In a sudden development, the Congress high command stalled Laloo Yadav's scheduled announcement of the poll pact between the two parties and sought a ``reworking'' of Thursday's deal.
EC curbs on opinion polls, TV ads
Hoping to prevent voters being swayed by opinion polls, the Election Commission barred newspapers and the electronic media from disseminating opinion poll results after 5 pm on September 3 till the last day of polling for the Lok Sabha on October 3.
No change in N-policy -- Vajpayee
