Great Maratha
Zee has had a meteoric rise ever since its launch in 1992. Today Zee Network has many sister channels like Zee Cinema, Zee News, Music Asia, Siti Cinema and last week, Independence day saw the launch of their Marathi channel.

It's a 24-hour entertainment channel which would have films, news bulletins and serials. Most of the serials that were popular on Zee TV would be dubbed in Marathi. Zee Chairman, Subhash Chandra Goel inaugurated the channel by lighting a lamp, breaking an auspicious coconut at Hotel Taj Mahal's Princess Room.

His way
Where there is a will, there is a way. Shekhar Suman proves this proverbial saying. It's a fact that he shoots everyday for his Movers and Shakers on Sony as it's a daily show. Then he began shoots for his new sitcom, Hera Pheri (STAR Plus). While most of the people were wondering how he manages his dates, the soap Main, directed by Sapna Joshi also got a time slot on STAR Plus. Industry folks thought he would go mad with his hectic schedules but Shekhar is cool as ever, and feels things are much easier now. ``People may think whatever they want to but now I only shoot one shift a day. And I'm happy that whatever I do, it's on my terms and conditions. I'm in the best phase of my life,'' says Suman.

Changeling
One problem that most actors/actresses face is the image that gets stuck to them. One such actor who is quite frustrated with the tag of a comic actor is Vrajesh Heerji who shot to fame with Sorry Meri Lorry. Another problem that follows such an actor is that no one wants to take a risk and experiment with him. But sometimes things may change and they have for Heerji. His role as Roshan Seth's son in Sturla Gunnarson's film Such a Long Journey has won him accolades. He is in Rakesh Roshan's film which is a launch vehicle for his son Ritik Roshan. His play All The Best has completed 250 shows. To change his image he is also doing some episodes of X-Zone and Bhanwar. And that's not all: He's now writing Television Eighteen's Amul India Show (STAR Plus). ``From now, no more comedy for me'' he swears off.
