Palkhivala pats Murli Deora

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, AUG 27: This is an offbeat case of electioneering in which personalised canvassing carries weight. It would embarrass most people but Murli Deora, Congress candidate for Lok Sabha from Mumbai south, actually loves it.

``In the days of bleak political culture where largely selfish ends underlie the preoccupation of most politicians and there is a growing bankruptcy of capable, committed men who can deliver, Murli stands out in a class by himself... I have no hesitation is pledging my whole-hearted support to such a worthy man,'' reads a signed statement from veteran jurist Nani Palkhivala.

If this wasn't enough, Palkhivala further states, ``despite a dismal present, the silver linings in the Murli Deoras we have can infuse a certain optimism on the future of India.''
