He added that the action is taken as the DAV Colleges in Punjab and Chandigarh are working without any statutory bodies. The members also disapproved special grades being given to any category of college employees (including the principals). As per the issued statement, these are in violation of rules and are on an arbitrary basis. The meeting also resolved to work for suitable employment of the wards of the employees, who die in service.
