Man dead
An unidentified pedestrian, was run over by a speeding truck near Wadinath Mandir on National Highway No 8, on Tuesday morning. According to the police, the driver sped away after the mishap and witnesses could not note down the registration number of the vehicle. A case has been registered against the truck driver.

The Raopura police have registered a case of fraud against one Bhikhabhai Chhotabhai Patel, a resident of Santoshi Nagar, near Chhani Jakat Naka, for preparing a fake document to usurp a piece of land in the village. According to Chhani police, the land belongs to one Raojibhai Danabhai Patel but the accused got the document prepared by using a forged stamp of Vadodara City Mamlatdar and his clerk.
