St Anne's shot into the lead when prolific striker Evelyn Goes scored midway through the first half. St Joseph's equalised five minutes later, through Reena Salian's solo effort.

When the match remained tied at full-time, the two goal-scorers turned protectors under the bar as makeshift goalkeepers. Ironically, Evelyn and Reena both missed from the spot, shooting to each other's body.

Apurvika Shukla and Mahera Shaikh converted for Anne's, Savina Cardoz and Nitya Benny for Joseph's, and a sudden death was forced at 3-3.

Radhika Saxena slotted in for Anne's, but the pressure finally got to Deepti Rohra of Joseph's.

Earlier, Our Lady of Remedy defeated St Mary's, Kalina, 4-3 in a tie-breaker to clinch the thirdplace.
