Rex Remedies XI triumph
Safdar Qaiyum's all-round display (33 and 2 for 21) and fine spell by Vinod Sharma (3 for 14) and Pradeep Shastri (3 for 25) helped Rex Remedies XI prevail over Sharma Sports Club by four wickets in the Citizen Toys Challenge Cup at Telephone Exchange ground, Yamuna Vihar.

The following players were also awarded for their performance during the tournament. Pradeep Shastri (man of the match); Safdar Qaiyum (best batsman); Vinod Sharma (best bowler) and Jai Singh (best fielder).

Softball selection trials
Softball Association of Delhi will conduct selection trials on September 18 at 2 pm for girls and at 3.30 pm for boys at Presentation Convent School, opposite Red Fort, to select Delhi team for 12th Sub-junior Soft Ball National championship to be held from October 5 to 10 at Mathura (UP). The players are required to bring their original date of birth certificate/proof of age duly certified by their Principal on the letter head and may contact RK Zutshi and Gopal Singh at the venue.

Indian Challenge series on DD
DD will cover Indian Challenge Cricket series between India and Sri Lanka from September 16 to 22. The timings are: 9am-11am on DD I, 12pm-2pm on DD II, 14.30pm-16.30pm on DD I.

Inter-College Aquatic meet
Delhi University Inter-College Aquatic meet for men and women will be held at Talkatora Swimming Pool from September 16 to 18. Entries close at 1pm on September 15 at Delhi University Sports Council office, North Campus.
