New techniques for beauty treatment

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
PUNE, Sept 16: Beauty has always been a good business, but now with the advent of the microdermabrasion machine at a dermatologist's clinic seems like the bug has bitten doctors too. Dr Dilip Shah has introduced this technique at his clinic for the benefits of the treatment to reach the public.

A computerised machine that `sandblasts' the affected area, removes acne marks, spots and fine superficial wrinkles in 10 to 12 sittings. This is a procedure that is performed with a jet of fine mineral crystals that are vaccumed across the skin to remove dead and damaged skin cells. Not only that they also stimulate the collagen beneath the surface of the skin thus improving its elasticity and appearance.
