Mock MBA programme

The Planning Forum of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Vile Parle, conducted a mock MBA programme which concluded last Sunday.

Over 1,400 students from 61 colleges participated in the programme which began on August 22 with a common written test based on the CAT. The top 450 students qualified forgroup discussions. The 120 whoqualified appeared for personal interviews on September 12.

Mask-making workshop

Devilal Patidar will conduct a Mask Making Workshop at the Son-et-Lumiere Art Gallery from September 21 to 25.

The programme is open to all. There will be two sessions will be held - morning session for amteurs and the evening session for professionals.

The participants creations will be on display at the gallery. Call on 2188880.

Engineers Day celebrations

The Institute of Engineers, Maharashtra state, is celebrating Engineers' Day on September 17. The celebrations will be held at The Institution of Engineers, Maharashtra StateCentre, 15, haji Park, Mahalakshmi,Mumbai 400 034, at 6.30 pm.

ALM programme

Municipal Commissioner, K Nalinakshan, will inaugurate the Mahakali Advanced Locality Management Programme (ALM) on September 19 at 10 am at the St Xavier's High school, SVP Road, Mahakali. Those who would like to join in call 821 8251.

Korean cure for aches and pains

A city engineer has introduced Korean Su Jok therapy, which is said to provide instant relief from backaches, arthritis, headaches and bodyache. The method can be taught in 20 minutes and workshops are being held every Sunday at Ahimsa Bhavan, 14-A Road, Khar (W), between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.

Public speaking contest

Vivekananda Youth Forum and Rotaract Club of NM College have organised the 10th Inter College/Institution Public Speaking Competition on September 18 at Ramakrishna Mission Auditorium, 12th Road, Khar, from 10 am to 3 pm. Call on 6183594 for further details.

WIMA workshop

WIMA (Association of WomenEntrepreneurs/Industrialists of Maharashtra) has organised a workshop on artificial pearl jewellery for women who are interested in starting businesses.
