Cash, valuables worth Rs 98,000 stolen

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
PUNE, SEPT 20: Thieves broke into a flat in Maheshnagar, Pimpri and decamped with valuables worth Rs 98,000 on Sunday night. According to the complaint filed by Sujata Karnani, thieves broke into her flat through the kitchen window.

According to the police, even though the thieves cut through the iron grills of the window, neither the residents nor their neighbours were alerted. According to the complaint, the thieves took the keys lying on the dressing tables and cleaned out the cupboards and decamped with the cash and valuables. The Pimpri police have registered a case of theft and are conducting further investigations.
