Workshop on industrial safetyA one day workshop on industrial safety and chemical emergency preparedness has been organised by Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India, Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, Maharashtra State and Confederation of Indian Industry on September 22 at the Sahyadri guest house.
Arun Bongirwar, Chief Secretary, P P Mahana, Addl Chief Secretary, and Rajendra Singh, Principal secretary (Labour) will participate from Maharashtra. Vinod Vaish, Special Secretary, and V Rajgopalan, Joint Secretary will take part on behalf of Ministry of environment and forest, Government of India.

ABVP candidates elected
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad candidates have been elected as president and secretary of the Mumbai University Students Council at a meeting today. Minal Marathe, general secretary of the post-graduate department of Civics and Politics, has been elected as president while Mangesh Bhalerao, general secretary of Pendharkar college, Mangesh Bhalerao has been elected secretary.
